Our new luxurious Gladstone Cockpit Green collection has been created celebrating the crafts heritage of Stoke on Trent. Each piece is hand made at our factory in the same way it was 135 years ago, showing our commitment to craftmanship. It is skillfully decorated in a timeless rich green floral design for a bold contrast against our silky white fine bone china.
Commonly called Cockpit Green this was the standard colour for the interior areas. It got the nickname of Cockpit Green from being used in the Older RAF aircraft (although this is a totally different shade). This name has stuck with us for all these years. The rumoured origin of Eau De Nil.
The collection features theEverydayitems which complement casual family dining and are dishwasher proof, and theLuxuryitems which feature a 22 carat gold banded edge to provide a lustrous finish for special occasions.
